Want to work at the Baldwin Care Center but need nursing assistant training? The Baldwin Care Center is taking part in the WisCaregiver Careers Program, which allows a student to take a state-approved CNA class and the state competency exam at no cost!

After completing the training and testing, students can receive a $500 retention bonus after six months of employment at a participating nursing home, including the Baldwin Care Center.

How it Works:

  • Visit the WisCaregiver Careers page to see the requirements and learn more about the program, where you can take classes, and the participating nursing homes.

  • Register in the WisCaregiver Careers Program.

  • Find and successfully complete a WisCaregiver Careers Training Programs. A list of state-approved programs, along with their locations, can be found at the WisCaregiver Careers Employment Opportunities page.

  • Take and complete the state competency testing and be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.

  • Work at a participating nursing home. After six continuous months, you will receive a $500 retention bonus

*PLEASE NOTE: If the student does not successfully complete the training or testing, or work six consecutive months at a participating nursing home, the student will be asked to be pay back for the courses and training.
